Hi, I am Kristen, owner of Tress Hair Studio located in the heart of Westerly, Rhode Island.

With over 25 years of experience in the beauty industry, I am a Master Stylist specializing in custom color, dimensional blonding, lived-in highlights, balayage, and long hair transformations.  Prior to opening Tress Hair Studio, I proudly owned Tangles Salon in Deep River, Connecticut.

In addition to my salon work, I also provide professional mortuary hairstyling services, a role I consider one of the greatest honors of my career. Helping families create a peaceful, beautiful final memory for their loved one is something I approach with compassion, dignity, and heartfelt care.

At Tress Hair Studio, my mission is to provide more than just a hair appointment, I strive to create a personalized, luxury experience in a welcoming, clean, and stress-free environment.  Every appointment is one-on-one, allowing me to truly connect with each guest and focus on their individual vision and needs.

I believe the consultation is the foundation of every successful service. Listening carefully, creating collaboratively, and ensuring every guest leaves feeling confident, beautiful, and cared for is at the heart of everything I do.

Billy brings over 16 years of experience to Tress Hair Studio and is known for his precision cutting, custom color work, fashion colors, and curly hair specialization.

Passionate about creativity and self-expression, Billy views hair as an art form and loves creating looks that help his guests feel confident, unique, and beautiful. Whether it’s enhancing natural curls, creating dimensional color, bold vivid transformations, or delivering a perfectly tailored cut, his attention to detail and artistic eye shine through in every service.

Billy especially loves working with curly hair and understands the importance of creating cuts and color that complement each guest’s natural texture, movement, and individuality.
